Here at Kindred Creatives Art and Literary Press believe in the power of structured chaos as a means of development mentally, emotionally, and physically for people of all ages! KCALP offers a variety of creative, entrepreneurial, spiritual, and educational classes, courses, and workshops. Ranging from live virtual Pre-K learning classes to writing a memoir. We have many guest educators that are passionate about what they are teaching and we are for certain you will enjoy it.
Summer Creative Clubs Ban The Summer Slump
Help your child retain what they learned this past school year to stay on target next school year. We are offering creative summer clubs that focus on literacy, creativity, music, Spanish, and more! You will reserve your spot on Eventbrite or Purchase online on our website.
Safety Message
- Families will have to fill out the registration form that you can find on Kindred Creatives
- Students will stay in the bookstore at all times unless accompanied by an adult as part of the lesson.
- There is a bathroom in the store.
- Based on information on the registration form, students can either leave on their own or must be picked up by the adult on the form.
- This class begins before the mall officially opens but the doors open at 7:30 am.
Clubs
Literacy Programs
Ages 3-5
Virtual Live Learning Session:
Children will spend 50 minutes on a M/W or T/TH schedule in the mornings focusing on early childhood Math and Reading skills. Fun Fridays include active and creative learning activities. You will get a weekly lesson calendar to show you what to expect and the materials needed for the week every Saturday. In the afternoons, we offer Fun with Friends, a socially interactive class where children get to see others virtually and speak. You will get to set your schedule based on availability. Middle and High School-Aged
Middle School English Semester Class
Perfect for students that are homeschooled but everyone is welcomed. Maybe your child needs extra support in their ELA class, we will provide ELA skills for reading and writing but in a semester-long format. Students will be given passages, essay prompts, and more to help them reach or surpass grade level. Students will have homework and will receive grades and tri-weekly report cards. Offered by You Soar Tutoring and College Prep.
Essay Help
Students will be able to choose from different workshops that focus on the essay writing process to diving deep into parts of an essay. These can be essays for a class or personal essays for college and programs that seek essays for admittance. Offered by You Soar Tutoring and College Prep.
Creative Programs
We offer a variety of creative programs in person and virtually. These are for all ages. Learn poetry techniques, visual journaling, creative expressions and more.
